I designed lights for a 15-minute, student written play, which told the story of a production of Hamilton that went terribly wrong. I achieved this “unprepared” look by having a spotlight operator randomly point and shake their spotlight around the stage. Additionally, many principal actors did not wear stage makeup, causing their faces to look pale. View photos from this production below!
