Agatha the Ugly

I added electrics to an empty on air sign, built by our set builder, in order to make it light up.

We used a dimmer and wireless DMX on the back of the flat (left, bottom) to control it on the light board, and turned it on when a character’s radio show was actively broadcasting.

The sign itself could be placed on and removed, as Eye Screws/hooks were screwed onto it/the flat, allowing for easy transport. Inside the sign (not pictured), 5 lightbulbs illuminated the sign, and red/clear gels were used to diffuse the light and turn it red.
